TURN UNDERUTILIZED/ UNUSED LANDS INTO SUSTAINABLE FOREST PLANTATION AND SAVE THE NATURE FORESTS

The “REVOTROPIX PAULOWNIA MILLION TREE CHALLENGE” campaign is strategically planned and aimed to plant 1,000,000 RevoTropix Paulownia Trees in the next 5 years. The objectives of this campaign are expressed as below:

•SAVE NATURE FOREST- Support afforestation by planting more valuable trees in unused lands

•SAVE WILDLIFE HABITAT – Saving nature forest unequivocally save its biodiversity;

•OPTIMISING UTILISATION of every single piece of available land and CREATE ADDED VALUE to underutilized/ unused land and bushes;

•RELIEVING THE ISSUES of land erosion, water pollution, siltation, global warming, and disruption to Indigenous People's living;

•REDUCING CO2 EMISSION into the atmosphere

OUR CORE COMPETENCIES

1. “RevoTropix Paulownia”

“RevoTropix Paulownia” is our in-house cloned species. It is being carefully chosen among other species and optimized to grow well in Malaysia. “RevoTropix Paulownia” tree able to grow as high as 18 feet and achieve diameter of more than six inches within 8 months in our farm located in Negeri Sembilan.

2. Biotechnology
 Our cutting edge tissue-culture technology successfully cloned the “RevoTropix Paulownia”, enabling us to produce diseases-free and superior quality tree. Our experienced farm manager and soil nutrient experts are working hand-in-hand to manage the farm.

3. Systematic Farm Management
We are deploying a comprehensive farm management system whereby every “RevoTropix Paulownia tree” will have its own identity with issuance of "RevoTropix Paulownia tag", with RFID Code for identification and GPS coordination of each tree. Recorded details will be conveniently traceable in future. All the gathered information will be analyzed for continuous improvement.  

4. Collaboration with Universities
We are collaborating with local and overseas universities on Paulownia research. The research outcome and input from universities are valuable know-how in propelling continuous improvement of our research and development activities.

5. International Networking
We have forged international networks to secure supports and technical advices from our collaborators across the world i.e. UK, Spain, USA, China, and Vietnam. 

6. Long term Proposition
We have lined up 5-10-30 years proposition to further venture into various sectors with “RevoTropix Paulownia” i.e. environmental, scientific researches & community welfare work etc.

1. In the last six decades, the world population have multiplied at incredibly rate nearly three-fold, estimated at 7.4 billion by March 2016, and The United Nation projected it will increase to 11.2 billion in the year 2011[1]. To meet the end needs like provides accommodation, food, urban development etc, human being are removing the forest at massive scale which led to loss of habitats and biodiversity, endangering wildlife species, causing death of rivers and imbalance ecology systems, also climate changes, natural disaster etc. National Geographic have reported that deforestation have swaths the size of Panama each and every year, and the world’s rain forest could completely vanish within hundred years if current deforestation rate remains[2].
2. Environmental issue is a communal responsibility. We seek for supports from all members of the society to converge colossal effects in creating awareness among public about the benefit of planting trees.
3. Risk Management – Fire and flood’s insurance is in place for all farms. Nevertheless, the compliance to ethical and stringent practices of afforestation is the core of our code of conducts.
